Allergens
Dairy
Our sorbets are 100% dairy free and are processed using machinery that is designated 'dairy free'.
Our ice creams all contain a large amount of fresh dairy products - one of the many requirements of being Super Premium Ice Cream!
Eggs
Our sorbets are 100% egg free and are processed using machinery that is designated 'egg free'.
Some ice creams in our range contain eggs. Specifically: Belgian White Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Honey Parfait, Super Fudge Brownie (in the brownies) and Pavlova Passion (in the meringue).
All other ice creams are egg free - however they are processed using machinery that may have come into contact with eggs, so if you have a high sensitivity to eggs we recommend our sorbet range.
Gluten
Our sorbets our 100% gluten free and are processed using machinery that is designated 'gluten free'.
Our ice creams sometimes contain a small traceable amount of gluten and as such it must be declared on the ingredients label. You will see this listed as 'glucose syrup (wheat)'. In the glucose syrup, the gluten from wheat has been totally processed out of the ingredient. It is safe to use for gluten-free products, even though we do have to have 'wheat' listed in the ingredients.
We have our products regularly tested for traces of gluten and they have always come back within an acceptable range, being less than 20 parts per million (according to the Coeliac Society).
The only exception to this rule is ice creams that contain inclusions that contain wheat. For example: Super Fudge Brownie, Pear & Rhubarb Crumble, Tiramisu and Anzac Bikkie.
If you are at all concerned, or have a high sensitivity to gluten, we recommend our sorbet range.
Nuts
Our sorbets are 100% nut free and are processed using machinery that is designated 'nut free'.
Our 'Nutty' range of ice creams definitely contain nuts. These include flavours such as Peanut Butter Disaster!, Honey Almond Nougat, Fig Honey Pistachio and more.
The rest of our range of ice creams are nut free - however they are processed using machinery that may have come into contact with nuts, so if you have a high sensitivity to nuts we recommend our sorbet range.
Certifications
Halal ![]()
A large range of our ice creams and sorbets are Halal certified. Only our certified ice creams and sorbets carry the Halal symbol on them. On 120mL tubs the symbol will sit up to the left of the Serendipity Ice Cream logo, and on 500mL tubs the symbol sits on the gold sticker next to the product name.
Kosher

We have recently undergone Kosher certification on a number of our products. Only our certified ice creams and sorbets carry the Kosher and Pareve symbols (Kosher dairy for ice creams and Pareve non-dairy for sorbets). On 120mL tubs the symbol will sit up to the left of the Serendipity Ice Cream logo, and on 500mL tubs the symbol sits on the gold sticker next to the product name.
Vegan
Our sorbet range is suitable for vegans as they do not contain dairy, eggs or honey.
